Until now, to post from Substack, I had to hop on my laptop and draft a newsletter. In a perfect world, I’d always have time to do that, but this is far from a perfect world, in case you haven’t noticed!
Today, because self-care (not to mention healthcare )is important even in the midst of busy election cycle, I scheduled back to back dermatologist and eye doctor appointments. Thankfully, they are across the street from each other.
So just now, as I was waiting for the eye doctor, I got a message from Substack notifying me that they’ve added a feature in the Substack app that allows publication directly from the app.
You can:
Make a pull quote!
Or, make a bulleted list. I’ll make one of my favorite writing snacks:
Gummy bears
Gummy worms
Gummy frogs (or anything)
You can also add a photo. Here’s one from the RNC in Milwaukee:
I’m figuring out how to make a hyperlink, so here’s a piece I wrote this week about former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley issuing a cease and desist letter to a PAC set up to persuade her former primary supporters to vote for the Democratic nominee.
This is super exciting for me and I hope it will be good for readers, too. Please let me know how this looks to you. (I promise all of my posts from the app won’t be this mundane, but I had to test it out!)
Looks food!
Looks great. Link worked. 😎
