My in-laws moved there. We made 2 visits every year. My small world self didn’t like gambling; kept thinking how many hours I worked from the money. Hated the noise and the lights. Couldn’t wait to get back to rural Michigan. On the others hand, many Hoover Dam visits and great hiking trails.
I never understood the draw of Las Vegas, either.
